Friends of Shoscombe School Association (FOSSA) is the school Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and our role is to support our children by providing the little “extras” that aren’t covered by the school budget. Whether it’s new play/sports equipment or contributions towards transport to enable school trips to enhance our children’s educational experience. The whole school benefits from the work that the FOSSA volunteers provide but ultimately it’s the parents, by assisting or attending events, providing resources or even just giving their ideas, that make this possible.
FOSSA meet regularly in the evenings to share ideas for events and we would welcome any new parents, grandparents and/or carers to come along and get involved, whether it be a little or a lot.

If you would like to get more involved with FOSSA, please feel free to speak to a member of the committee:
Louisa Du Rose – Chair
Mel Chalfont-Griffin – Vice Chair
Nikki Howe – Secretary
Roxanne Breadmore – Treasurer
FOSSA needs parental input to ensure that Shoscombe School has the funds available to enhance our children’s primary educational experience with fun stuff like day trips and special events at school.
All offers of help or donations, however small, are very much welcome.

Chair, Friends of Shoscombe School Association
Find us on Facebook: Shoscombe School PTA – FOSSA. Because it’s all about our children and school it’s a closed group, so if you’re not already a member just ask another mum or dad who is to add you, it’s that easy.
Feel free to leave feedback, suggestions or ideas about events. All feedback is welcomed.
Saturday 2nd December is our Christmas Fair! There will be craft stalls, children’s activities, Santa’s Grotto, hot food, refreshments, facepainting, etc. And, there will be Christmas trees and roasted chestnuts on sale in the playground too!
Come along between 12 – 4pm.
See you there!
